Designed with the print requirements of the commercial photography and fine art markets in mind, yet also representing a sound choice for the proofing market, the 24-inch Stylus Pro 7890 & 44-inch Stylus Pro 9890 create true-to-life prints at a high speed of up to 40m²/hour.
High quality colour: Achieve one of the highest colour gamuts available with consistently smooth gradations.
TFP print head: Tap into enhanced dot quality and crisp, clear images for better-than-lab-quality prints.
UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta inkset: Enjoy a superior range of natural-looking grey tones. Three densities of black - standard photo or matte black (selected automatically depending on the media) plus light black and light light black - create striking black and white output with a high contrast ratio, perfect tonal range and improved grey balance without colour casting.
Perfect colour: This combination of black inks means prints are free from bronzing, with a uniform surface appearance across both light and dark areas. Metamerism is also reduced, ensuring grey tones are consistent no matter what light source they are viewed under.
Boost productivity: Epson’s Automatic Droplet Detection System fixes blocked nozzles without intervention. The printer also carries photo and matte black inks simultaneously, a built-in rotary knife cuts prints quickly and cleanly while paper rolls are changed effortlessly in seconds.
Optional inline SpectroProofer: Ensure consistent, repeatable colour accuracy when using different media, rapidly measuring control strips and colour charts when creating ICC profiles and print verification results.
